Qualifications
Highschool diploma (GED)
Bilingual English/Spanish
Dental Experience
1 Year experience in administrative assisting
Associates or Bachelors Degree
Responsibilities
After warmly greeting all patients who walk into our practice with a smile you will assist them with checking in for their appointment and completing some administrative steps prior to the start of their treatment
You will also schedule patients for future appointments In addition you will be cross trained in some basic clinical duties
Ultimately this role is a stepping stone for anyone who wants to build either an administrative or clinical career in the dental healthcare space
Ensuring all patient documentation such as consent forms, medical releases, health histories are current and complete prior to start of treatment
Answering patients’ questions about their current or future appointments
Escalating patients concerns to other team members when necessary
Scheduling patients for treatment
Collecting co-payments
Turning over rooms per our infection control protocols and seating patients in operatories
Safely sterilizing/processing dental instruments
Ensuring the office is clean and tidy during operating hours
